After taking off in Friedrichshafen, you will head towards Immenstaad and across the lake to the university city of Constance. Here you will see the famous landmark at the harbour entrance – the statue of Imperia. A little further to the west is the vegetable island of Reichenau, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. From there you will follow the Rhine past Horn, Gaienhofen, Steckborn, Hemmenhofen and Wangen to the beautiful town of Stein am Rhein. After Gailingen and Büsingen you will see the Rhine Falls near Schaffhausen. Prepare to be amazed – 600,000 litres of water falling 23 metres every second is an unforgettable sight. Flying in the direction of Singen you can enjoy the beautiful view of the Hegau, the impressive Hohentwiel castle ruins and extinct volcanic cones. Continuing along the north-western shore of the lake, past Sipplingen and Überlingen on towards the pile-dwelling museum at Uhldingen-Mühlhofen with its 23 original reconstructions of stilt houses from the Stone and Bronze Ages. On the route home you will also be able to see the flower island of Mainau with its butterfly and palm house. Finally past Meersburg, Hagnau and Immenstaad, and back to Friedrichshafen.*
